The Glen Allen Ruritan Club and Henrico Recreation & Parks are hosting the 26th Annual Glen Allen Day on October 8, 2022 at Crump Park and Meadow Farm with the theme “Over 25 Years of Bringing Glen Allen Together.”

Henrico Dems will have an outreach booth and will be walking in the parade with our candidates and electeds. We need volunteers to educate voters about the upcoming election and to walk in the Glen Allen Day Parade.  You can sign up to walk in the parade or spend an hour or so at the booth helping with outreach. Bring the kids – it’s a great family day!

Allow time to park and walk or carpool to parade staging site. We will walk along Mountain Rd to Crump Park (behind our float which we are hoping our Young Dems will be helping to decorate!) Wear a blue shirt or a candidate t-shirt, and bring candidate signs, American flags, etc. (we will have some available). The festival within Meadow Farm will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There will be live music and demonstrations, a petting zoo, face painting, games, an arts and crafts fair, food and more.
