This election will be held under new district maps, which may change where you vote and for which offices. Check the Virginia Department of Elections Citizen Portal at vote.elections.virginia.gov to find out when and where to vote, change your registration, and more. Important Dates

• You can vote early and in person from September 23 through November 5 until 5:00 p.m.. at the Eastern and Western Government Centers. There will also be a satellite location at the Varina Public Library.
• The deadline to register by mail or online is October 17.  You can still register in person at your local registrar’s office through November 8 or at your polling place on Election Day (November 8).
• The deadline to have an absentee ballot mailed to you is 5:00 p.m. on October 28. You can request an absentee ballot through the Citizen Portal at vote.elections.virginia.gov . If you mail your ballot, it MUST have a witness signature (missing signature was the number one reason why ballots needed to be cured last year).
• Henrico Dems will be sending out a signup to help maintain our presence at our HCDC table at the early voting locations in Eastern and Western Henrico and at all Henrico precincts on November 8. Keep an eye out for that information in your inbox.
