2. 9. 08 | Richmond, VA – Six thousand Virginia Democrats attended the 2008 Jefferson Jackson Dinner at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Stuart C. Siegel Center. Presidential hopefuls Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama spoke at the dinner, as did former Governor Mark Warner, who is now a candidate for U.S. Senate. Other Virginia Democrats in the program included Governor Tim Kaine, Richmond Mayor Doug Wilder, Delegate Dwight Jones, Chairman Richard Cranwell, Delegate Brian Moran and Delegate Jennifer McClellan.
