DPVA Central Committee Meeting and J-J Dinner

Location: Richmond Convention Center, Downtown Richmond
Program: Saturday morning, 10:00 a.m. – State Central Committee Meeting; the 7th District Committee will meet following the SCC meeting; the Women’s Caucus will have its annual breakfast; there is a noon Awards Luncheon – - visit the DPVA website for information, details, and registration – - – www.vademocrats.org – - – you are encouraged to attend any of these activities and see how DPVA functions

· Saturday evening at 7:00, the Annual J-J Dinner – “Building for Virginia’s Futrue” speaker to be announced. Dinner tickets are $150

· IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN SITTING AT A HCDC TABLE, please let me know ASAP – we will host a table only if we have 10 individuals signed-up.

· Also, there is “grassroots” training session on Sunday

5th Annual HCDC Dinner/Fundraiser

Location: Holiday Inn Crossroads located on Staples Mill Road by Broad Street
Program: Fundraiser Dinner and Silent Auction

7th Congressional District Committee Meeting

Program: The 7th Congressional District Committee will select the Democratic candidate to oppose Congressman Eric Cantor at a District Convention to be held on Saturday, May 15th in the Henrico area. Henrico County is allocated 60 delegates for participation in this convention. Details for selecting the Henrico Delegates will be presented to our membership at the HCDC regular meeting of April 12th.
